Swim lessons are held in a lovely, private pool setting, in Montclair, NJ. Lessons are quiet and private, away from the hubbub typically found in a public or club pool. The lesson times we offer are more flexible than public/club pools, as we're not competing for pool time with camps, teams and group classes.  Once you book a lesson, we send you the exact location of the pool.  Students are required to wear swim caps.

Pool Features:

• Heated water temperature 79-82 degrees.
• Shallow and deep water.
• Jumping feet-first water entries, and diving entries at teacher's sole discretion.
• Entry steps.
• Bathroom and private changing area.
• Emergency shelter for inclement weather.
• Guardian viewing area.
• Quiet and private.
• Ample street parking.

Your Backyard Pool
Ultimate Convenience and Privacy

We travel to your pool and teach lessons in the privacy and convenience of your backyard. For families with children this is extremely practical, as kids become familiar with all the characteristics of the pool (depth, dimension) so that they learn to be safe in their home pool. Lifecycle Swimming accommodates your preferred lesson times, and you gain satisfaction from getting full use of the pool which you pay to maintain.  If your pool is heated, lessons can begin early June and end mid-September, weather permitting.

• Clients must purchase a Home Pool Safety Assessment ($60) before teaching can begin in any backyard pool. We'll ensure the pool is safe for lessons, and recommend safety protocols specific to your pool to keep swimmers safe.​
