At Water Ready, we’re working to change the conversation around swimming and water safety.
Too often, the focus is only on swim lessons — without enough education for parents, realistic safety skills for kids, or honest conversations about the risks that exist around pools, lakes, and oceans. We believe confidence in the water should be built on more than just strokes and racing skills. It should be built on awareness, judgment, preparation, and practical skills that help families stay safer in real-world situations. Parents and guardians are the gatekeepers of safety. When families better understand how to prevent incidents, recognize danger early, and make smarter decisions around water, everyone benefits. |

Water Ready grew from a simple belief: families deserve better water safety education.
As Jennifer started teaching swimming to all ages and abilities, she noticed the same pattern again and again: many families were entering the water without the education, preparation, or practical safety knowledge they truly needed. Traditional swim lessons often focused heavily on strokes, competition and short-term milestones — while leaving critical gaps in supervision education, ocean safety, realistic risk awareness, and parent involvement. Water Ready was created to help bridge that gap. Drawing from years of experience in swim instruction, water safety education, and family-centered teaching, Jennifer developed Water Ready as a more modern, practical approach to helping swimmers and families become safer around water. Today, Water Ready combines swim instruction, parent education, workshops, online learning, and real-world safety training into one connected philosophy centered around becoming “safer, sooner.” Because confidence in the water should be built on more than swimming ability alone. |
